ADVANCED DIGITAL MEDIA PRODUCTION (12TH GRADE)
This advanced capstone course is designed for third and fourth year IMPACT students who are dedicated to finalizing an impressive body of work while strengthening career goals with an emphasis on storytelling, videography, filmmaking, writing, audio, visual effects, and digital communication.
In addition to regular coursework, students will collaborate with community and industry partners/mentors, submit work to competitions, and develop digital portfolios in preparation for postsecondary education and careers in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment industry sector.
Advanced Digital Media Production allows students to explore the role of digital literacy in modern society through a rigorous course of theory and practice. Particular attention will be given to the student’s recognition and application of technology-based communication in visual arts and digital storytelling.
